Cardinals 50/50 Raffle for Be The Match

Mia and family was asked to help with the 50/50 Raffle
for Be The Match at one of the preseason Cardinals game.
We had SO much fun!

Mia and her sister helped with selling the raffle tickets.

They also got some sweet seats and were able to watch the
Cardinals warm up.

We helped to raise about $23,000. for patients like Mia who need
a bone marrow transplant for a cure.

Remembering Kwamie Lassiter

We have NO words for the sudden loss of @kwamie_lassiter42 @thekwamielassiterfoundation πŸ’” our hearts are broken for his family ... he was the best supporter of @bethematch as his son underwent a bone marrow transplant at PCH, and Kwamie was always helping others in the community and raising awareness for sickle cell anemia. He will be dearly missed. Praying for you Lassiter Family πŸ™πŸΌ #neverforgotten #weloveyou #kwamielassiterfoundation #GodBless

Madison Fills in For Mia

Mia had been looking forward to speaking at the
Isagenix #NYKO 2018 conference for weeks.
Unfortunately, Mia was overcome by the flu the day
before she was supposed to go on stage speaking.
We were mortified.
This had never happened before as we have been
fortunate enough to always make most of our events
illness free.
Madison, Mia's little sister, 11 years old,
said that she would step in for her big sis.
Thank goodness for Madison because
I don't know why we would have done!

Sweet Madison woke up to the questions, 'Hey Madison...
I have the biggest favor...can you go on stage for Mia in
front of 5 thousand people??'
Sure!
Haha love you Madders.
Here she is in the green room before she went on stage.

Isagenx has raised $8.9 million for Make A Wish...

And has given away 938 wishes...AMAZING!

We are so sad that Mia couldn't be there, but the next best thing is
Madders...who knew she could have a future in comedy??

Be The Match @ Isagenix Headquarters

Mia had a fun time at the Isagneix Corporate Headquarters in Gilbert AZ
to register potential bone marrow donors to the Be The Match
registry to start the New Year off!

Mia helping explain how simple the cheek swab is
to be added to the registry to help save lives.

We were so happy to see so many smiling willing potential donors!

Mia just loves her Isagenix buddy Stephie - who is in charge
of special events like this and also a partner with
Make a Wish - who we love dearly and have been blessed
by a make a wish trip to Hawaii 5 years ago.

Isagenix - Speaking Engagement

Mia should honestly be a motivational speaker.
Her story is so touching and she inspires so many different types of
people and groups with her life.
Mia is thrilled to be given the opportunity with a speaking
engagement in front of 5-7 thousand people at the
New Year's Isagenix conference in Phoenix in January.
CLICK HERE to read their article about Mia
and giving back.

We can't wait to raise awareness of Be The Match and Mia will
be representing as a make a wish kid as well.

Yep.
Funny because Mia is one of THEE most thankful people in the world.

We love Arizona for keeping Mia alive!!

Be The Match @ ASU Downtown

Mia was given the opportunity to briefly share her story (of how
to be cured of DBA she would need a bone marrow transplant) to a
fabulous group of students at the ASU Downtown campus who
wants to host a bone marrow drive in Phoenix.
Mia had a blast!

Of course...she rocked it.

These students are awesome for wanting to help find not only Mia a Match,
but others who need life saving bone marrow transplants as well.

Mia at the D'Backs -1st Pitch

Mia and her BFF Clare ready to go at the D'Backs Game!
The Mix 96.9 gave us all shirts to wear, SO awesome of them.

Ready to go on the field girls?

They really had so much fun!

Mia & Clare

Welcome to 90's night!

One of the cool parts was that Mia got to meet Sugar Ray
aka Mark McGrath since he's doing a 90's concert after the game.
SO FUN!

Pics pics pics!

Too cute...

Literally just hanging out on the baseball field.

Thanks to friends who took these for us!

Waving to the sweet lady who put the words on the back of our
shirts for free! Mia said she'd wave to her, so sweet.

Go Mia!

I'm sure Matt always thought he'd be the one to be pitching
out there in the field...but no, it's Mia!

After, Mia had the catcher sign the ball and Mark McGrath!

Ok, mom...seriously...what are you saying??

Haha, so fun!

Nice to meet you Mark, you rocked the concert, loved it!

Elevator selfie!

Mia and Clare = ice cream

After the D'Backs sadly lost to the Cubs, we went outside
to the Pepsi VIP area for the 90's concert.

We had SO much fun!!!
Mom and Dad might have had a little too much fun while feeling
old. Haha! Thank you so much to everyone who made this so awesome for us!
ESPECIALLY the Mathew Blades Show!!

BE SURE to watch this VIDEO of Mia's interview on the radio
and Mia throwing out the 1st pitch!! SO MUCH FUN!
