Mia had great support from our bible study friends...they came out just to support their sweet friend Mia and help raise awareness for Be The Match. Thank you friends...thank you for serving with us!
Mia also had an interview by Weezy...one of the fun hip hop dancers for the Phoenix Mercury.
Madi is getting in there too...haha.
Our friends from Hopekids were given tickets to hand out to fellow Hopekids like Mia so it was fun getting to see them too!
Matt got to participate in the flag ceremony put on by Be The Match...he had help from The Kwamie Lassiter Foundation. Their son is also looking for a bone marrow 'match' for Kwincy to cure his Sickle Cell so please help them if you can.
Mia + Madi got to be court side for the National Anthem...up close and personal.
There's dad on the right holding the flag...way to go dad!
Mia + Madi also got to be a part of something really neat...they got to hold the ball on the court with 10 other kids while the players signed the ball for them to keep.
Mia got Mistie Bass' autograph (one of mom's favs :) and Madi got Alex Harden's autograph, dad thinks she plays really good!
Good job girls...now you can practice your basketball skills with your new balls!
Oh look, dad made it on the jumbo tron...and won a game. (We won't talk about how he beat mom!)
